The Prince comes up to me yesterday and says, "Isn't today, 'Build a Gingerbread House Day'"? As I look at the calendar I can see that he is correct, so off to work we went. Here is our finished project. *There may be other gingerbread houses on other blogs, keep a watchful eye.*

Having had the opportunity to see the creation in person, I can tell you that the Prince and the Queen did a great job. But, now I'm feeling a bit sorry that I haven't made a gingerbread house. Woe is me...

actually Kyle has been complaining about "why don't we ever get to make a gingerbread house?" guess i get the bad mother of the year award!
this would have been the perfect opportunity to make Kyle's young heart happy...but when you are desperate to win an award I guess you do what you have to.
