October in NY is a time for picking: apples, pumpkins, peaches etc. So since we are New Yorkers who are we to buck tradition? So far we have picked two out of three of the above mentioned. Perhaps next week we can try our hand at peaches...if it is not too late.
Last Saturday the Royal family was invited to an engagement party for the Queen's friend LeAnn. The party was more of a carnival than your typical engagement party, complete with snow cone machine and castle bounce. The Prince had a great time splashing around in one of three pools, as well as sliding down the slide and swinging on the swing. Basically it was the BEST engagement party ever. Congratulations to LeAnn and Danny, we can't wait to see what the wedding is like!
So today water was added to the water side of the sand and water table and it was a big hit. P. Caleb stood at the table and experimented with the water hitting the sand and the sand sticking to his fingers, what happens when the water hits the ground and himself. Tons of splashing was done along with a complete self soaking. All in all it was quite a lovely way to spend a warm spring afternoon.
