Caleb received a new sand and water table a few days ago and was finally able to get it outside for some fun. He was also the proud recipient of a bubble machine which for some reason, he thought was food at first. Instead of sand and water being in the sand and water table, it was filled with rice and beans. Why? some of you may be asking. Answer: The Queen couldn't find sand and wanted Caleb to be able to play with the table. Caleb seems to like it just fine and the rice and beans in the sun tend to give off a nutty odor, reminiscent of a local fair. Don't ask me why the Queen is reminded of a fair but she is. Someday soon the rice and beans will have to go but for now they are one fun food.

and, you don't track rice and beans all over the house. i think will has that same table!
Very clever! Just make sure to keep the beans out of your nose, Caleb! ;)
Caleb has some OCD tendencies. If one bean falls on the floor, he will spend ten minutes trying to pick it up and put it back in the table.
I like this table. I find step 2 products to be the most durable and kid friendly.
you, Ms. Queen, are VERY resourceful!
BTW, nice royal blogger!
you can usually find sand at Toys R Us.
thank you for the comment on the blogger... and I did find the sand at toys r us, thank you.
